Upcoming Mother Daughter Event at Afton School
Tuesday, October 19th a Cooking Healthy Event was attended by over thirty people at the Main Street Grill and Bakery in Afton. The event was one of several events to celebrate National Breast Cancer Awareness Month sponsored by Chenango Health Network. Chef Elizabeth Dawson demonstrated healthy cooking ideas and prepared a healthy option soup on the spot, with a salmon entrée. She offered "pink ribbon" cookies for dessert. Chenango Health Network extends appreciation to Elizabeth Dawson for her part in making the event a huge success.
