Cancer Support Services offers cancer survivors and their families information about cancer treatment, emotional and psychological effects, where to look for medical institutions, talking to family and friends, what's available in the local community.
Chenango Health Network provides Cancer Companion Bags for people to use while undergoing chemotherapy or other cancer treatment. Each bag contains a hand made hat, fleece lap blanket, lip balm, lotion, puzzle book, Chenango Health Network notebook, pen and water bottle. Booklets provided by The Wellness Community; The National Cancer Institute, and Cancer Care. Assistance provided by the Sherburne Wheelers ATV Club, Inc. and their volunteer crafters and Chenango Health Network Volunteers.

For people receiving treatment, cancer survivors, those who have been affected by cancer (caregivers for a family member or a friend with cancer) the Cancer Support & Education Group offers an opportunity to meet others facing similar issues, find support and receive helpful information.

Meetings are the 2nd Wednesday of every month from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Chenango Health Network.
